In July, Freerange Future celebrated 20 years!
To mark two decades of creating for positive change, we revisited our archives and selected key projects from each year. A collection of work that reflects more than just the projects themselves. They show the outcomes achieved, change created and progress made together.
Alongside these are the stories, milestones and challenges that have shaped us. Because while we shape ideas into impact, it’s our clients and partners who have shaped who we are.
20 years in one minute
Want to see 20 years of Freerange Future in one minute? Watch the video below.
Over 20 weeks, we revealed a different year from our history, sharing a piece of work and the story behind it. From our early days to the work we’re doing today, it was a chance to look back at how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same.
We’ve certainly evolved over the last two decades, but our purpose remains the same: bringing purposeful creativity to life and creating real impact.
Celebrating 20 years
Once we’d shared all 20 years, we celebrated our 20th birthday in style with a corporate circus workshop from our friends at Lolly Jar Circus, followed by lunch with the team.
At our 20th birthday lunch, Nick announced that when Freerange turns 30, he’ll climb a Swiss mountain, eat a Toblerone on the top and buy us all Toblerones. So… that milestone is now officially on the calendar!

Looking to the next 20 years
While we loved looking back, we’re just as excited about what’s ahead.
We’re looking forward to shaping the next 20 years with the same purpose.
We’ll keep looking for ways to make communications and digital experiences more accessible, use marketing for good, build digital solutions that solve real problems, and give back through our impact business model as a B Corp.
We never expected that something that started in Nick’s living room 20 years ago would grow into what Freerange Future is today. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.
We’re excited to keep creating for positive change together.
Here’s to the next 20 years!
