Polyglot is an Australian contemporary theatre company that has been creating captivating performances and activities for children for more than forty years. They were well and truly ready for a new website, one that could be much more expressive and accessible. It was agreed that a brand refresh would be the best starting point – not to completely rethink them but to modernise their logo and develop an accompanying collection of graphic assets that could embody some of their fun and bold energy.

With a subtly revised colour palette, a strong and accessible new hero font, an accessibility tool guide and a re-sculpture of the logo, the brand then formed the basis for the new website’s design. Through workshops, we listened closely with Polyglot to understand their goals and audiences, then thoughtfully restructured their content to be a more joyful and compelling user experience. The design riffs on their creativity and personality, with bold colours, shapes and subtle movement that enriches the entire tone of the site.
