From Complexity to Clarity – A Digital Refresh for mobo

The Challenge

mobo has been empowering people living with disability and their families for over 60 years. With 12 sites in South Australia, mobo plays a vital role in enabling people to live and work with independence, confidence and purpose. Their mission centres on inclusion, respect, and meaningful opportunities – and their digital presence needed to reflect that same ethos.

As mobo undertook a revised strategic direction, it became clear that their existing website no longer met their needs. The previous platform was difficult to manage, had accessibility issues, and lacked the flexibility to grow with the organisation. Navigation was confusing, content often overlapped, and key actions like job applications or donations were hard to complete. With six distinct audience groups, from job seekers and referrers to retail customers and commercial supporters it was essential that the new website delivered a smoother, more intuitive experience for all users.

We have to thank the team at Freerange Future for bringing our website dreams to life! The talent and skills of the team, your understanding of our goals, and ability to take on our unique style and make it translate into an informative and engaging website, we couldn’t have asked for a better result.

Accessibility

How accessible is your website and brand?

1 in 5 Australians have some form of disability. We consider accessibility as a high priority, ensuring our websites meet WCAG 2.0 accessbility standards and additional widgets can be utilised. Does your website have contrast errors? Is it keyoboard-friendly? Are your text sizes legible? Do you use image alt-tags? Let us help build an accessible product for you.
