Councils Come Together to Launch Homes for Tomorrow Campaign

The Challenge

Councils are experiencing high population growth, and as a result, the standard of housing in fast growing areas is declining. Many of the homes being built in these areas only achieve the bare minimum energy efficiency and thermal comfort standards. Our research found that although detailed technical information on sustainable features was available to those who went searching for it, more needed to be done to increase consumer awareness and encourage the uptake of sustainable features.

To spread the message far and wide, the City of Onkaparinga, Mount Barker District Council, Alexandrina Council and Light Regional Council came together to launch the Homes for Tomorrow Campaign.

Highlights

Content

We created 1 website, 3 long videos (plus more shorter videos), 24 digital assets, 15 social posts and 7 resources to spread the message far and wide – whilst being relevant to each council’s region.

Reach

The campaign was viewed by more than 100,000 people in just the first two weeks in market.

Impact

We wanted to develop a campaign where people took real action, and make sure that we could track the impact. There were more than 1,400 website visits and 300 fact sheet downloads in just the first two weeks.
