Perfform

Helping arts organisations who engage and inspire children and young people.

Creative Industries ≠ Creative Communities.
If we want
a strong and healthy community, we need engaged, confident and creative young people.

About Perfform.

At the heart of our B Corp commitment is our impact business model. We donate 5% of our billable time to charitable causes, and through Perfform we focus that support on arts and cultural organisations working with children and young people.

We partner with organisations across the arts and culture sectors whose work is participatory and hands-on — with a particular focus on those reaching under-served communities. We help them grow their practice, reach and impact: making a project bigger, helping it connect deeper, or getting something off the ground that might not otherwise.

Sometimes that’s a single project. Sometimes it’s a longer-term partnership where there’s potential for real, lasting change.

Our Perfform Partner

We’re proud to be supporting Lolly Jar Circus, South Australia’s only fully inclusive social circus.

Lolly Jar is the only circus school in the state that’s fully inclusive of children and young people with disability or at social risk. Its trainers are educated in disability and understand different learning styles and sensory needs, and the space is built to be accepting rather than overwhelming. Every child is welcome and valued.

Through weekly classes and outreach right across South Australia, Lolly Jar uses circus as a tool for inclusion, confidence and connection — helping young people find belonging and a sense of what they’re capable of.

A generous grant has recently enabled Lolly Jar to secure a permanent home — a significant step that expands what they can offer, along with their running costs. We’re supporting them to build on it, working across marketing, design and their website to grow their reach and put the organisation on a sustainable footing as it scales.

What's next?

We’ll be looking for a second partner in 2027.

If you’re an arts or cultural organisation working with children and young people, and there’s a project we could help make bigger, reach further or connect deeper, we’d like to hear about it.
